Day-by-Day Full Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival to Istanbul

Met by GuideOmer and transferred to your hotel in the old city. Tonight join the welcome dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Istanbul. (D)

Day 2: Istanbul

Tour Topkapi Palace, the Hippodrome, the Blue Mosque and St. Sophia. Then explore the Grand Bazaar. Overnight in Istanbul. (B)

Day 3 : Istanbul – Edirne

Visit the Underground Cistern and cruise on the Bosphorus strait. Then drive to Edirne. Overnight in Edirne. (B)

Day 4: Edirne- Canakkale

Explore the famous Selimiye Mosque, the Beyazit Complex, the Grand Mosque and Ali Pasha Bazaar in Edirne and then head to visit the World War I’s memorials, cemeteries and monuments in the Dardanelles area. Overnight in Canakkale. (B)

Day 5: Canakkale – Bergama

Travel to Troy to explore its ruins which mentioned in the Homer’s Iliad. En route marvel at the scenic Temple of Athena at Assos. Then later today, discover all the ruins in Pergamum. Overnight in Bergama. (B)

Day 6: Bergama – Izmir

Experience some of the most exciting sites in Pergamum; such as Acropolis, Red Hall and Asklepieion. Then drive to Sardis to see the oldest Synagogue in Turkey, Temple of Artemis and other ancient monuments there. Overnight in Izmir. (B)

Day 7: Izmir – Denizli

Today’s visits to Ephesus ruins and Aphrodisias. Ephesus is the best-preserved ancient city on the Mediterranean, and Saint John the Evangelist preached here. Aphrodisias was a cultural center, known for its school of sculpture and devotion to the cult of Aphrodite. Overnight in Denizli. (B)

Day 8: Denizli – Antalya

Today’s explorations are Pamukkale and Hierapolis in the morning. Then depart for the Mediterranean coastal region through the spectacular Taurus mountains. Late afternoon, visit the Antalya archeological museum. Overnight in Antalya. (B)

Day 9: Antalya

A relaxing and enjoyable day on the Mediterranean beautiful beach hotel. Perhaps another exploring day to the Pamphylian sites of Perge, Aspendos and Side. Or design your day. Tonight the farewell dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Antalya. (B,D)

Day 10: Return Home

After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the Antalya airport. Safe and nice trip back home. (B)
